Assistants

By following a few simple instructions and answering basic questions you will be able to complete tasks more quickly and easily with Pastel's assistants. For example, Pastel has an assistant that helps you adjust the selling prices of your inventory items with minimum time and effort.

Customers

Pastel's flexible customer account setup allows you to configure parameters per customer. For example you can set individual trading and settlement terms and select the e-mail and /or print option for invoices and statements. Create as many customers as you need - Pastel's high performance database won't slow you down as your customer base grows.

Invoicing

Entering invoices is logical and intuitive. The on-screen invoicing template form is a mirror of the physical invoice. Save time, ensure accuracy and control back orders by linking quotations, sales orders and invoices.

Age Analysis

Pastel Xpress' age analysis provides you with crucial information about your customers and suppliers. It lets you see outstanding balances, aged analysis and assists you in prioritising collection of overdue amounts.

Inventory Items

You can create product and service type items. Use service items to bill consulting hours and maintenance contracts. You can prevent individual items from being subject to line or invoice discount.

E-mail Documents

You can e-mail invoices and statements directly from Pastel Xpress to your customers. In addition e-mail items such as newsletters, marketing information and aged payment reminders. All reports are available in an optional HTML format, compatible with most Internet browsers.

Note Facility

With Pastel's Note Facility you can link multiple notes and external documents to any master file record. In Inventory, for example, you can attach specifications, brochures, drawings and pictures to an item.

Microsoft® Office Integration

Pastel integrates your general ledger, customer and supplier data with Microsoft® Office. Personalise communication by utilising the mail merge and e-mail merge capabilities. Reports can be opened in Excel and Word. Customer and supplier contact information can be exported to Outlook. Compatible with Microsoft® Office 2000 and XP.

Graphics

A picture is worth a thousand words. Use Pastel's graphic reporting feature to display business critical information in a graphical format. For example, view trends in customer sales, inventory movement, expense allocation and more.

Financial Ratios

Pastel Xpress allows you to analyse your company's performance using standard financial ratio analysis and even tells you how to interpret the ratios. For example, ratios like Customer Days and the Acid test provide insight into how well working capital is managed. Financial Reporting Pastel Xpress produces standard financial reports automatically.
